You asked for more power, and we delivered. The Grunt FE 72V Battery Upgrade Kit includes  everything you need to push your ride further, faster, and harder.

While this 72V battery wasn't originally designed for the Grunt FE, it shares the exact same connector and footprint as your stock battery. It drops right into the existing battery tray and secures easily with the included strap. (Note: Because this battery is about 3 inches taller, you will only be able to fit one 72V battery in your Grunt FE at a time).

The best part? Your stock Grunt motor and controller are 100% compatible as-is.

Important Installation Notes (Read Before Buying)

This kit requires some light DIY skills. Here is what you need to know about the setup:

• DC-DC Converter Placement: You will be replacing your stock DC-DC converter. There is no pre-set factory mounting location for the new one. Depending on the level of finish you want, you can zip-tie it securely to the underside of the electronics tray, screw it into the metal plate, mount it on the controller cover, or stash it in a triangle bag. It just needs to be secure.

• Minor Rewiring: You will need to break off a signal wire, crimp on the included terminal ring, and route the new connection to the contactor located under the black motor controller cover.

• Tools Needed: You will need a ball-end 3mm hex key to remove the controller cover, a 13mm socket, and standard wire cutters, strippers, and a crimper (tools are not included).
